We at NHSA are passionate about ensuring a bright future for children in America. We believe that Head Start and Early Head Start provide the best tools and resources for starting children off toward that bright future.
As the new Executive Director of the association, I spend a great deal of time in Head Start and Early Head Start programs all over the country. Almost every day I hear a story about a Head Start graduate who has moved successfully through life and had some really extraordinary experiences. Just as frequently, I encounter a program doing really innovative things in the classroom or with families. There is so much hard work and innovative thinking going on out there! It is truly empowering and I want to share it with you.
